Once again no wifi connection

Day 4 of no wifi connection and no answer as to what is going on. Phoned through on Friday was told to put the sim in a phone and gave me steps to follow which didn't word as it kept say emergency calls only. Lady on the line say I must keep trying otherwise I will have to do a sim swap as it means the sim is damaged. Can't tell me how the sim can be damaged as it is a brand new sim card barely a month old. Phoned through again on Saturday, get told no a service request is being logged and someone will get in touch via email. I have not received any communication, and my wifi is still down. I had the exact same issue last month and ended up doing the sim swap just to get my wifi to work again. Does this mean I am going to have to do this each and every single month? Can someone please explain to me what is going on and actually help me get my wifi to work again

After again having to phone to try and get my issue resolved, I am finally told that the approved routers have updated and mine is not on the list. Why was there no communication send to customers about this? Why could you not have given us a warning so that we can make arrangements to try and get a new approved router?! I am using the one I have now as they broke in and stole mine and this is the only one I could afford, now I have to keep paying for a service I can not use cause you decided to change things around?! How is that fair to your customers?
