Offered early upgrade and get charged for two handsets with no warning then get a phone with less specs to promote their business

Very very very disappointed in Vodacom service! First I get an sms in February to upgrade my phone so I do so.... Then I get charged for two handsets for 3 months because my old contract hasn't expired yet.... Then why offered me an upgrade alin the first place! Then on top of that not to add any warning of this! Some people are on a very tight budget and can't afford extra handsets. I would of been happy to wait another 3 months if I had known this would be the case. Absolutely disgusting ripping your customers off offering them an early upgrade and charging them for two handsets. Don't you make enough money then to pray in your customers. On top of all this I ordered a Huawei P20 which specs is dual sim cards. My husband has exactly the same phone but from Cellc with two sim cards in his phone... Open up my sim card tray recently to add another sim card and it only takes one sim card. Vodacom's response is they don't sell dual sim card phones to promote their brand.... Absolute ******* so they disfigured phones and take away from the phones specs to "promote" their brand so we must pay full price and get less. This is utter nonsense... The cherry on top is when you plug my phone into a computer it says clone.... Mmmmm ?

Good day. My issue was that it isn't made clear by vodacom about paying two head sets at once, you just presume customers will know about it, there is no warning that you still have to pay the handset for 24 months so if you take out another contract with a handset 3 months before your first contract is up you will have to pay for the both for 3 months. You just presume customers know everything and according to your agent I should ask for a quote before hand and then it should say on there what I would pay. How would I know that? I have never asked for a quote before, you see a deal been offered and you take it. Would it be so difficult for a sales consultant or your online store to give a warning to customers beforehand? Your records are wrong then because before the hello Peter consualant called me the customer care line agent couldn't explain to me why I was paying for two just that this should be the last month. Thrid of all the dual Sim card function been taken away from my phone the Huawei p20 was explained to me the second time as it's for insurance purposes because your insunace is done through a 3rd party so to stop confusion of using another sim card and then claiming that you order them without it, yet you don't advertise that you have taken this function away from its specs and you could also just advise customers when they take the insurance that they have to use the sim card insured with the phone which surely you tell your insurance customers when they take out their insurance. Interesting thing is though I found an ad to get a contract phone from game with a dual sum card through vodacom? So doesn't this explanation apply to other phones?

The fact at the end of the day that Vodacom isn't transparent with their customers is what disaapointed me most.

Both MTN and Vodacom can't give clear reasons to why they disabled this feature

And you certainly don't make it clear to your customers that you have done so

So to customers out their if you want a dual sim card enabled phone then look at Cell C because my husband with with them and his P20 is fine, not disfigured like with Vodacom

Sorry meant to say prepaid phone through vodacom from game with a dual Sim card. Obviously prepaid get all the perks but contract customers don't and get locked into a contract
