OBF out of box failure.

On the 3rd of March my phone got ****** and I did a insurance claim. I received a new phone from on the 4th of March and the next day the 5th of March I took the phone back to Vodacom Repairs Menlyn for a OBF as the phone gets extremely hot at some stages and drains the battery, they tested the phone and tried doing a software upgrade which failed. So clearly they saw it is faulty now they said they sending it to Vodacom Repairs for another assessment for OBF. I spoke to repairs on the 8th of March to follow up and they still didn't receive the device but the lady assured me they will prioritize once received. I phoned today the 9th of March and a lady said they received it but they will only do the assessment tomorrow as there is no Samsung technician in today at Vodacom Repairs they only work every second day. I am really upset as I bought the phone from Vodacom took it back to Vodacom literally the next day I haven't even used it for a full day and now when the device is faulty they shift everything as if I bought it from Samsung if I knew this process takes so long I would have rather bought the phone from Samsung as Vodacom does not follow the consumer act. I am really upset I have been with Vodacom for more than 15 years and will definitely look at moving to another service provider after this. I am told it takes 7 days to resolve this and get it approved for a new device. Vodacom is inconveniencing me because of this ridiculous process.

Still no new phone the 10th of March I phoned to follow up the now said the OBF is rejected because the store I handed the device in at which is Vodacom Menlyn repairs didn't do a specific test on the device so now they have to send it back to Menlyn to do the test and then Menlyn needs to send it back again to OBF department. It is a joke.
