number was given away without consent

On the 21st of November I got an sms saying that a sim swap is being done with my number the sms also stated that if this is a mistake i should notify them, when I did notify they told me the information I'm giving them is wrong and its showing someone else's info. I went physically to Vodacom in westgate to lodge a complaint on the 23nd of Nov and all i got was a reference number but no solution.iv been using this number for more than 15 years now. The person that has been given this number isn't even using it , iv tried contacting the number and its always off.<br> <br> I need this number urgently because I use it for business and investments, and i cant change my number for certain notification services.
