On the 11 March 2018, I contacted Vodacom and was informed that my prepaid number that I had been using was barred due to inactivity. At no point was it mentioned that it is on the inactivity log to be recycled on the network. I am furious as I have just been informed that this is irreversible because when I switched on the phone to load airtime, I got an error message sim card failed. And then to add insult to anger, when I spoke to the consultant Wandile Dingalo, he tells me that I cannot speak to his manager as his manager does not take calls but at no point does he mention that he could put me through to a team leader. I then requested to speak with one and the lady whose name is Ethel has total disregard for my concerns. I have sent an email to the Star newspaper and upon acknowledgement of payment, they have agreed to publish my story as part of their business insert.
I look forward to hearing from a senior individual from Vodacom in an effort to resolve my problem.
