Number Port

To whom it may concern:

So today around12:15 I went to the Cell C 4U store at East Gate shopping centre to port my number over to Vodacom. The sales representative Prudence tried to assist and advised that she would continue to get the porting done while I returned to work for a meeting, she also advised that I did not have to do RICA as I was simply porting my number.

After attempting to contact the store for the last five minutes now at 13H30 without anyone answering the phones to get an update on this matter I attempted to do a port myself as per the steps Vodacom provides (http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/switch-to-vodacom#switch-form)

I recevied an SMS stating that my sim card is not registered in terms of RICA.

If this is how someone attempting to become a Vodacom customer is treated I worry about my decision to move at all.
