Number blocked

What vodacom did to me it's unfair I have been using my number for over 10 years now then yesterday out of the blue my number is blocked without warning I can't make or receive calls, when I contact customer care they tell me my number is blocked cause it's not rica registered, now I can't register the sim card cause I don't have the barcode for the sim.
