Nothing done or assistance provided regarding SIM swap *****

Was informed of SIM swap on my fathers SIM card via SMS which is RICA'd on his name. It was done by the company he left after informing them its his SIM that he bought and RICA'd and he will be keeping the number. The new SIM was then given to another employee. That employee is now getting all his personal banking notifications and Whatsapps. We tried calling the number in the SMS but couldn't get through. Went into the Vodacom branch in Howard Center Shopping Center, Pinelands, CT where we were told they couldn't help us and we instead needed to get the company to switch it back. How was the company allowed to **********LY do a SIM swap on a number RICA'd on someone elses name and why are Vodacom refusing to assist or do anything about it? So anyone can just go do a SIM swap and get our banking notifications and OTP's and we can't do anything about it besides go to the person when we may not even know who it is and ask them to please reverse their ******* activity? I have called the number on your website which is listed as the number to call regarding SIM swap ***** and spoke to an independent company in the UK where I lodged a complaint but haven't received ANY response as yet. How can you drag your feet with something like this? This can't be ethical at best so if we don't get a timely response I feel it best I try to assist in lodging a complaint with the regulator.
