Not valued by Vodacom SA though I am their loyal customer

Not valued by Vodacom SA though I am their loyal customer How is it possible for Vodacom SA to offer and agree to an upgrade package to a loyal customer(me), promise to deliver, only to tell the customer that "that deal is no longer available", whereas they agreed and promised to provide the offer with no ifs/may be and buts. So Vodacom offered me a deal of 10 gigs day and night time data with an additional 1 gig on my voice line at R 139 to retain me, unfortunately the retention agent was unable to load the data contract, however, loaded the promotional 1 gig on my voice line. He (Brian) assured me that when my contract is cancelled on the system, he will call me back to so upload the offer. He never called. I went via Mondi to cancel and come month end I am free to load the offer of R 139. I call in yesterday to their retention department and I am told I cannot get the offer at the previously agreed price, its now R 199. How is this possible? Do verbal agreements have no value at Vodacom? Do we promise loyal customers, only to turn on them? Thought I have retrained my contract with them, I am very unhappy.
