Not replacing faulty products
I got an LG G4 on contract with Vodacom. 3 weeks after purchase the phone started hanging and would not start up. I booked it in at Cresta who sent it to head office. I waited a week and a half and tested it when I got the phone back. It had the exact same problem. I booked it in again the same day. I waited again for a week and a half. I got it back and tested it and it gave the same problem, so I booked it in again the next day. I expected to just be given a brand new phone at this point - obviously the unit is faulty. I found out today that they have now replaced the motherboard in my old phone and have sent it back to Cresta and \if I still have problems"I should \""book it in again with escalation\"" - a fourth time. This is ludacris. I will not be accepting the same phone that they haven't been able to fix and I will not continue to pay on the contract for a refurbished phone when the new one lasted only 3 weeks. I surely am not booking the phone in again. To save time and fruitless effort I suggest Vodacom replaces this phone with a new unit and cuts their losses on the dud unit. Vodacom have had my phone longer than I have at this point."""
