Not on top with their own services

So the day that it was announced that customers can pre-order the new iPhone7 that has launched, we went onto the Vodacom site online and followed the prompts in order to pre-order the iPhone7. (this is after we also "pre-registered" for it in store a week prior)

Yesterday, we phoned the Vodacom store at the Stellenbosch square just to find out that not only do they not have any record of our pre-order but they also cannot assure when, if, and which iPhone will be available for purchase. How is this possible? Why pre-order in the first place if you do not keep any record or knowledge of who has pre-ordered????

Our upgrade was due over a month ago but we have waited patiently in order to secure the iPhone7 and now it seems that the wait would have to be even longer??? Please advice?!
