Not happy

I have 3 contracts with Vodacom. I have never missed a payment and have been with Vodacom for between 10-20 years. I have no immigrated to New Zealand but of course because I'm under contract I still pay my accounts. I've asked that the airtime on the number I was using be transferred to my other contract which my daughter who is still in SA is using, and she needs the airtime to convert to Data, but I've been told that (via online chat) that my contract does not allow me to transfer the airtime to another number and their systems does not allow for it either. (Although when I eMailed ********** I get told I can do it). Good day Fayroza Thank you for your email. Please be advised that airtime transfer is active on the number ********** 978. Please be advised that you can transfer airtime to another valid Vodacom prepaid or Top-up customer. To transfer airtime: Log in to My Vodacom. Click on ‘Buy/transfer bundles & airtime’.

Please be advised that airtime recharged can be transferred and its only 80% of the recharged airtime that can be transferred: How do I use Vodacom Airtime Transfer? After you have activated the service you can transfer airtime at any time to a valid Vodacom Prepaid or Top Up customer. To transfer airtime: Log in to My Vodacom Click on ‘Buy/transfer bundles & airtime’. Airtime allocated can only be transferred 7 days prior to the expiry date.

So basically, i'm assuming the information I received from the Customer Care department is incorrect. I don't see how or why my airtime cannot be transferred manually if need be to keep the customer happy???? and amazingly, when I arrive in New Zealand, I go directly to Vodafone to get a Vodafone NZ number. Please is there any way this can be done manually?

Please be advised that I know this now. What i'm saying is that I think it's ridiculous that I have to pay for a service until my contract expires and I want to use the airtime but just on a different number. Why would that be such a problem?????? I'm paying for 3 contracts. I'm using two and all I'm asking is that the one i'm not using's airtime gets transferred to a number that is being used. Please don't throw terms and conditions at me. I am a VERY VERY long time customer of Vodacome and a new customer of Vodafone New Zealand and I think it would be the decent thing to do to transfer my airtime from *** to *** just out of common decency and not throwing terms and conditions at me. These are not normal circumstances. I have left the country. I can't use my airtime. Can you please refer my query to a supervisor or someone that can make decisions or override decisions. Many thanks

I WILL NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO TAKE CONTRACTS OUT WITH VODACOM. *********. WON'T HELP LONG STANDING CUSTOMERS. DO NOT GO THE EXTRA MILE TO KEEP CUSTOMERS HAPPY.
