Not closing account when they are at fault
Vodacom breached contract when they debited the wrong amount from my husbands account. He signed up for a R799.00 contract and ended up paying about R3000.00 per month. After numerous complaints someone credited some of the amounts but not all. And then they did the same the next month.

Vodacom was then instructed to cancel the contract - after all they were the party to breach contract. My husbands no was removed from their network and me moved over to another service provider. I have been asking for a final statement for some time now but nothing happens.

He keeps on getting invoices for a contract that should have been cancelled. When I visit a branch I am told that they cannot help and when I contact the accounts department I'm told they cannot help.

Why is it that when a customer is at fault they are quick to expect you to react but when it is their fault that cannot do what is expected from them?

Please stop sending invoices and relook at your billing as well as the contract the customer requested. He can and will not be held responsible to the incompetence of the staff you employ.
