Not a very exciting future for Vodacom...
I took my phone to Vodacom Festival Mall for a repair as I didn't know what was wrong with it. The staff were so extremely noisy that the consultant who was helping me could barely hear me. The phone was sent in and I waited over a month for my phone to be repaired after it was said that it would only be 21 days.
The only communication I received from Vodacom was to collect my phone, no update, nothing. When I arrived on Thursday, a staff member printed me a ticket and told me to wait for the consultant. I waited over 20 minutes just for the consultant to tell me that one of the other staff members could have assisted me with returning my phone. He complained about the other staff, who apparently always does this, so I said to him to discuss this matter with his staff and not me and that it was unacceptable to wait 20 minutes for something that could have happened in 5. The staff kept on shouting and talking over each other that one can not hear himself think.
When he gave me my phone I asked what was wrong with my phone and he couldn't answer me. He said that I should know what's wrong with it as its my phone. I told him that that's the reason I have sent it in, as I want to know what was wrong, the phone is only a month old. He rep**** by saying that they weren't informed about what was wrong with it, but it's fixed now.
On my way out I noticed that my screen protector was scrathed on many places, and that's not how I brought my phone to Vodacom. I returned to the consultant and notified him about this. All he could say was: "Askies." He then turned around and went on with his business.
I find this service of Vodacom Festival mall highly unacceptable and dissipointing to put it mildly.
