Normal bill R1500, new bill R7962 from data
I moved to a new house with no wifi
I went to go talk to Vodaworld to find out best solution. I waited in the line for an hour, then the session with the consultant took more than an hour. They could not find the package on their system. They agreed to do the swop so I had less calling hours and more data. Said it was all set and I received a reference number.

By the 14th Jan, I called in and it was still not sorted. I went to a Vodacom store to buy data packages then to Telkom where I could get 40GB for R399, compared to Vodacom 5GB R280 or something. I signed the Telkom contract so I now had wifi (FYI - I only started work on 11th Jan)

On 2/03/16 I received an sms from Vodacom saying: \Vodacom alert, unusually high usage has been detected on your cell exceeding R6736, contact us urgently\" I was angered as my bill is normally R1500. Why was I not warned at R2500!!

I called in and asked for them to put in a limit, but they don't do data limit. They will cut all communications off if I set a limit and go over it. I am told I should have a data management app. In 15 years this is the first I hear of this. They now debited R7962 which will bounce.

"
