Non transparent.

I never had a problem with my Vodacom contract, until I renewed my contract at the three rivers branch Vodacom store. I specifically asked for a top up renewal in October 2020 and received and open line option. I only realised after 5 months having paid the same amount each month , noticing that my monthly debit order is different in February.

I phoned early in March to confirm what package I am on and the agent at the branch changed me to a top up option. I downloaded the app and out of curiosity viewed what my bill would be on the 1st April. My bill will be R300 more then before!! The agent only admitted today ,17 March that the option I was on is an open line.

I phoned customer care and I was told to speak to the branch and dispute the account. Why must I waste my time again with arrogant agents?

I find it totally unacceptable that there is no transparency. I the customers was told that the package has changed , when I clearly asked for a top up. The contract does not say top up or open line, just the option name. How does a consumer know that what one had previously is the same when you asked for the same package , just with a added minutes? No trust in this company!
