NON REPAIR OF VODACOM SMART TAB

Hi there, i am hoping by placing this on HelloPeter that i will get some sort of assistance. I took my vodacom smart tab to vodacom tygervalley -the lcd screen is cracked.They explained that this is physical damage and i might have to pay, I signed the neccessary documents and handed tablet in.I was told that my tablet is beyond repair because they do not have the part to fix it,i explained to the lady (Mariska) that it is a vodacom product.She referred me to CRM Tygervalley.Spoke to Philipina who was helpful at first but then came back with an email stating that the reason they cannot fix it is because it costs too much for them to repair it, a whole different reason given initially.I send email after email asking them to replace the unit as it is not my fault that they are unable to repair,and eventually phoned again.When i finally reached Philipina she just said oh yes i did not reply to you because i dont think we will replace it. This is not a definite answer.After explaining to her she said she will have to speak with her manager - still no feedback. I just need someone to get back to me as i have 20 months left on my 24 month contract.PLEASE ASSIST
