Non-existing Service for new customers

o how many tickets does one have to log to get basic service and support as a new customer? Here is the list Vodacom: SR190 ********** 87 Closed without connecting service - Well done SR190 ********** 33 SO190 ********** 63 No follow up..... I thought that Telkom's service was the worst and battled for 3 months just for them to cancel the non-existing service and it looks like I will have to follow the same route with Vodacom. It's disgusting to experience the lack of customer service and appalling followup. I'm SO worried about the "after sales service" if this is the way that a new customer/connection is treated. Can someone please advise the quickest and least painful way to disconnect the non-existing connection?

So this arrogant gentleman from Vodacom calls me yesterday wanting to know what the problem was with the system. I lost my temper completely while trying to explain to him that HIM/THEY/Vodacom are the specialists and that they need to tell me what is wrong with the system. He kept on insisting that I had to explain to him exactly what the problem was..... The bottom line is that the system is not working, no signal, lights are on but no one is home, the wheel is turning but the hamster died, the fridge is on but the beer is warm...... Do I need to give more examples? I've spoken to so many different call center personnel and everyone of them had different story line. This is a NEW application Vodacom Yes a NEW one. Do you want to tell me that Vodacom has no processes in place to facilitate the lead to cash process from cradle to grave? Why is the left hand not talking to the right? Who actually flicks the on switch or it that person on leave? How many more days and *********** phone calls do I need to endure before we get this right or cut our non-existing ties?
