Non existent Vodacom customer service

I have been experiencing problems using the ‘My Vodacom App’, not working since the beginning of October. I have called the customer service for the third time today. They confirm that a service call has been logged, but that nothing has been done about it. After holding on for almost 30 minutes, I was told by the operator that eventually answered my call, that she tried the department that needs to assist me, but that there is no answer, so there is nothing she can do. I find this totally unacceptable, it seems like Vodacom thinks that because we are tied in to a contract with them, that they can treat us like ****, as we cannot just cancel the contract.

It is now 24January 2017 and the problem is still not fixed. I was contacted by a consultant in December, who told me that the problem was fixed. I tried the Vodacom app, while he was on the line and it worked. when I tried it the following day, it was again not working. I then left this problem to be solved after my return from holiday. I then logged a second call for the same problem on 6 January 2017. The operator promised me that I would get a call back within 3 business days. After not receiving any call from Vodacom I phoned again on 20 January 2017. The operator then told me that the time period for a call back was 14 working days and not 3 as I was previously told. Then on 22 January 2017, I recieved a SMS stating that my query had been resolved (no call). I tried the app, but it was still not working. I then phoned Vodacom customer service again. The operator told me that the problem had been solved according to their 'system', but seeing that it was not working that she would log another service call. I am not holding my breath and have given up on Vodacom, as they are either not interrested or not able to solve my problem. Neither myself, my family or my business will ever be using Vodacom again though.
