Non-compliance of POPi act and false advertising

I app**** online for a contract with Vodacom that included a handset and a PS4. I received a call on the 05/09/2018 from the call center to inform me that I will get the delivery in 3 - 4 working days. Today, 07/09/2018 I received a email that says the following: Dear Valued Customer Thank you for using our Online service. Your online order was successfully received. Unfortunately, one of the items in your order, Sony PS4, is out of stock and we were informed the item is not immediately available from the supplier to fulfil your order. The handset is still available and if you wish to continue with a standalone deal at a lower price, please let us know and one of our call centre agents will call you. Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience. We will go ahead and cancel the order on the system. Should you require further assistance with your order , please call ********** or email us at ********** Kind Regards Vodacom Online

How is this possible after receiving a call that my order will be received in 3 - 4 working days? And does it not go against the POPi act to share my email address with 37 other people who was cc'd in on the email? I would like a solution please, else I will take this matter further. It's pretty ridiculous in this day and age firstly to advertise something that cant be offered and delivered and secondly, to share private information of your customers to random people. I think you can get into big trouble with that.

3 days ago, and no consultant has made any contact with me? Should I go ahead and lodge a complaint with the SA Information Regulator?
