No will at Vodacom to investigate ********** actions

In January my mother's bank account was compromised and over R50 000 was ******. The bank claims that somebody had access to her phone to use the one-time-passwords that were sent. Nobody had access to her phone, but on taking this up with Vodacom, they admitted that an unauthorised "Twin Sim" had been made by somebody at Vodacom. Since then, this Twin Sim has been used repeatedly to send out messages along the lines of "You have won R1million rand, please contact us to claim". My mother constantly gets calls and messages from unknown numbers about this and many of these calls are very abusive. We have contacted the Vodacom call centre repeatedly to get this resolved. In all cases we are told that somebody from Vodacom will contact us, but this never transpires. Is there somebody at Vodacom that can help? This has been going on for weeks!

Vodacom did indeed contact me by email. The last message was "This has been handed over to our ***** Team for escalation and investigation". In the meantime Vodacom has tried to bill for R75 000 and claim that this month's account is R23 000 in three days!

After 6 weeks of trying to work through Vodacom's various call centres to report serious and continueing ***** and we're still at the point of "someone will contact you".

This is shameful!
