No useful information available on historic usage
I have been incredibly frustrated with Vodacom over the last few years.
My immediate issue is that I am trying to get information on historic usage (voice and data), and this effectively isnt available at all. The only way you can do this is through itemised billing pdfs where you would need to add each line item individually. This would probably take me days to do. You used to have this information much more easily available, and at very least you used to have itemised billing reports available in excel which helped somewhat.
Without this it makes it incredibly difficult to figure out what new contract to get based on knowing what my historic usage is. It almost makes it feel like you are deliberately trying to make this more opaque.
This is all just layered on top of endless frustration I had when renewing my contract the last time where I spent hours and hours on the phone to resolve getting my new contract.
Is there no way you can help me with this?
Well thank you but your response is not particularly helpful. They told me to access the itemised billing report, as you say, but as I mentioned this is very difficult to use because it doesn't show summarised information and is no longer available in Excel format which will allow me to summarise the information myself.
So basically, rather than respond saying I was "advised correctly", your response should have been acknowledging that you don't currently have this information available as you used to and you have no easy way of showing me my total usage per month (which seems completely ridiculous).
