No urgency of important matters

On Friday I phoned Vodacom to cancel my contract that was due for cancellation. They offered me a top up package that I felt was wort taking even after all the bad experiences I've had. Obviously I made a mistake. She told me that the new top up package would be active the next day on Saturday. Ever since Saturday my phone does not work at all. I can not even dial 111 however I'm able to receive calls and sms's. I phoned numerous times on Tuesday they logged a complaint and said it takes 48 hours to resolve this problem. I'm still waiting. It has been 6 days that I'm paying for a service I can not use and there is just no urgency to this matter. And I know they wont compensate for this bad experience and incompetency from their side. I've been a loyal Vodacom customer since 2012 and all Ive received from them is bad service bad experiences and incompetency. I mean how is it even possible to just disconnect someone from the network and have them follow the standard procedures of waiting 48 hours and then up to 7 working days. There are no priorities. I am disgusted and I will never in my entire life use Vodacom again. Its just so unacceptable. I do rely on my phone for business matters and this has affect my income tremendously but I guess I will have to wait another 7 working days and loose more money but why would Vodacom care.
