"No TV for Black Friday Special".
"No TV for Black Friday Special". We received a sms to say for black Friday they have a 55" Samsung Tv for 3000 vodabucks. The app was not showing, we then went to the Vodacom shop Friday morning at Waverley Plaza, they told us that they are having trouble loading it. Friday about 4 we went to the Vodacom chat store at Gezina centrum, the tried the app as well with no luck, told us to go to a Vodacom shop, we then went to Vodacom at Wonderboom junction, the guy there made a phone call and told us that it could happen any time from Friday till Sunday. Every now and then we tried the app with no luck. We then went back to Vodacom at Wonderboom junction, where they then locked a complaint and told us to wait 24 hours. Now they send us a sms to say that the Tv's was limited stock and on a basis of fist come first serve. The thing is how can they say that, if the app was never available to purchase the tv? Also VODACOM - bought airtime to purchase showmax and received a story from them. needless to say, we paid and could not watch showmax. So all VODACOM is doing is take money and don't deliver!! I have all the screen shots and e-mails from them. It is now seventeen days later and still no responds from VODACOM
Vodacom.jpg 69.69 KBIf you say it is on a basis of first come first serve, then by all means, but there was no app to buy the TV's, so I would like to have proof from your side that there was people that did bought the 55" Samsung Tv's.

Vodacom's response: Dear Customer, Thank you for the time and effort taken to voice your dissatisfaction to our office. It is with the cooperation and feedback from valued clients such as yourself that we are able to identify any areas of improvement within our organisation. As per ***, the following feedback was provided " Dear Customer, With regards to the Black Friday deals, specials on the Samsung TV's had limited stock and was purchased on a first come first served basis and stock can only be guaranteed at order confirmation and not at time of application.
My question is: How could we purchase the tv if the app was never available, I do understand the first come first thing. If the app was available then I would like to have proof from Vodacom that there was people that did purchase the 55" Samsung TV's. Had to spend R3000 to earn the 3000 vodabucks to purchase the tv although I do have a contract, so if the app was available and some people bought the tv I want my R3000 back and Vodacom can have the 3000 vodabucks back.
Also VODACOM - bought airtime to purchase showmax and received a story from them. needless to say, we paid and could not watch showmax.
Vodacom's response: Dear Customer, we have completed our investigation and can confirm there is no Showmax subscription on your number. There is no refund due on the account as you have not been billed to subscribe to the service. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. To add the ShowMax to your Vodacom account by subscribing to the service through the Vodacom Online portal. www.vodacom.co.za. Regards'.
My question is: I want to know on which cell number did they look to see if I am a subscriber? I have a screen shot from Showmax to say "Welcome! You have successfully subscribed to Showmax charged at R99.00. Vodacom must please refund me the money as I could not whatch Showmax for the month. Your assistance in this matter would be highly appreciated.
