No, the query is not closed!!

Please see the record of the phone call which I made to your call centre. My query was as to why I am being charged for two handsets. When I renewed my phone it was after numerous checks that I qualified for a new phone - now I am being told that I only qualify in mid February – how convenient for Vodacom!!! I note too that when I look at my billing, I have been charged for two handsets for the whole of February; conveniently for Vodacom, the details of my a/c are not available online – as usual! The person at the call centre said I signed a contract with Vodacom when I received the phone – *******! I received no contract at all, just a phone.

You very conveniently send me a message (to which, of course, I cannot reply), saying that my query has been closed – surely the query is closed when I am satisfied that something has been done? Do you just send these messages to every person who has a query, while you rake in the money? I expect to be refunded for the charge for the second phone from when I received the new phone and sent an account which details this. The last time I “upgraded” my phone through you there was also a problem with my account and it was discovered later that someone had **********ly charged another phone to me, so I can’t say I have much confidence in your accounting!

Please find someone who can reply intelligently to my letter.

This is hardly a reply - just another ploy to avoid actual communication - and this from a communication company!
