NO THANK YOU MEANS NO THANK YOU

On Friday 8 November 2019 15:53 i had David K from vodacom upgrades call me from *** telling me that he is calling me not to sell me anything but to advise me that my contract on my tablet will be changed from R300 a month to R149 month for 1gb and my 500gig contract will be changed to R49 a month as it is a promo that they are having. i told him that i did not want to upgrade anything as i was waiting for the contract to finish so that i can cancel it as i was not using my tablet any more and it was a waste. once again i was told that he was only advising me and not selling me anything. he was going to send me an email so that i can read through the promo they were offering. just a few minutes later i received an sms to say i had renewed my 24 month contract that i never asked for and for a bonus i received vodacom contract cover for R6.99 per month. How many old people have been conned like this? i know that my granny was also a victim with the same ********s. Why do these people get away with this ??? my order number *** that i never asked for.
