No Statements

I had a contract with Vodacom which I have tried to get out of since last year July 2014

I started having connectivity problems in the area, after 3 months Vodacom confirmed that the tower in our area was overloaded and therefore it leads to poor signal, they gave me an option to opt out of my contract.

they then tried to debit my account for an exuberant amount, which I was able to stop through the bank. I then started requesting statements to see where the charges came from before I paid them. after a few requests I eventually gave up, and every time a consultant would phone to find out about payment I would ask for a statement. when in January this year I was told that I would be handed over for the outstanding amount which now doubled I again mentioned that if I had a statement I would be able to assist them. in May this year they eventually sent a statement to their dept collector. on It data charges for the last 6 months as well as a new device. I obviously refused to pay the additional charges and since then just keep coming up against a wall as according to Vodacom my details had been handed over to their dept collector and there is nothing they can do.
