No solution and even less interest

In September, I upgraded my 3G contract (which was an open line) to a 250MB Top Up contract with a tablet device in order to assist a disadvantaged student, who needed a tablet for school. I told the trainee sales assistant at the Centurion Mall branch that I was giving the tablet to a student for use at her school, and that she was not to be allowed to go over the 250MB limit that the contract stipulated. Six weeks later, on the 1st November, Vodacom debited my account with almost R24 000.00!!! There was insufficient funds in the account, and the debit order was rejected, which resulted in R180 banking fees and probably a negative credit mark on my business account, When I queried the amount with the call centre, they said it was for data which had been used on the tablet - the open line had never been closed, I asked them to investigate and they assured me they would call back. After a week, I hadn't heard anything, so I called again. I was told that they had written off R19 000 of the account, but that I was responsible for the remaining R4 700, which they would debit on 1 December. When I asked why, I was told that I had upgraded in the middle of September and the new contract only came into effect on the 1st of the next month (October), so the 250MB Top Up would only have come into effect then. The data that was used in the preceding two weeks was for my own account. I asked to lodge a dispute, as the sales assistant at no time during the upgrade process, told me that the line would remain open until the first of the next month. The call centre said I had to go back to the branch. I did this, and spoke to Hlengiwe at Centurion Mall, who promised to lodge the dispute on the system (which was very slow that day) and call me back. She didn't. I went back to the branch. She wasn't there and no one else seemed to know what to do. I have since been into the branch FIVE times to try to sort out this problem. The last time (last week), Hlengiwe told one of the sales consultants to phone the call centre to ask why the query was still showing "in Process" on the system and hadn't been involved. He called the call centre, asked what was happening with the query, and they kept him waiting for about 5 minutes and then cut him off. He refused to phone back - he said that's what the call centre typically does, they just cut you off and you don't get anywhere with your query. His helpful suggestion was that I wait and see if the debit order for R4700 goes through my account, and if it does, just instruct the bank to reject and return it, and then the call centre will probably call ME and want to know where their money is. The debit order did indeed go through on the 1st December, for the amount that I lodged a dispute for, and I have instructed the bank to return it. I still have not heard anything from Vodacom. In the meantime, the tablet was ****** last week from the disadvantaged student, and I have had to blacklist the SIM. I can't however, do a SIM card swap and get another tablet until this issue has been resolved. Speaking to the call centre gets me nowhere. Speaking to the staff at the Centurion Mall branch of Vodacom also gets me nowhere. So where do I go from here?
