No SMS's - once again

On the evening of 19/01/2015 I reported a problem that I wasn't receiving SMS's. After going through a process of rebooting phone/removing & replacing battery, checking/changing message centre,etc. I was told I'd have to wait until the morning for the specialists to check this out and that the turnaround time wasf 24 hrs. Nevertheless, I left a message for the person in charge to call me (I do have his name). Of course, this never happened and I eventually had to call on 20/01. I was promised feedback and so forth and got an SMS on 20/01 saying \Your SMS-MT service has been activated"(huh!?) and many other SMS's that I'd not received"
