No Sim card in store

Hi, I am from vodacom shop in Protea Glen. Wanted to take out a contact and do a Sim swap, I was told that the store does not have Sim cards I must come back on Monday.. a whole vodacom shop, one consultant in store, wearing a thesis hat and LG t shirt, no name tags.. there's a queue .. vodacom is Sim cards so how can a store turn clients away and say they don't have Sim cards, they said they haven't had them in a while so how is that
