NO SIGNAL FOR SIX WEEKS

The CEO,

Vodacom.

Complaint reference # S3-G933R-RQ5MO……. dated 25 November, 2016

Good day

I visited Vodaworld on 23 November, to speak to a consultant face to face to have the problem mentioned below resolved speedily. I was informed by the consultant that a technician had only opened the original reference number at 3 pm that afternoon.

The problem to date [5 December] has still not been resolved.

Would you please attend to this complaint as a matter of urgency?

Regards

C Thornton-Smith

Original complaint below sent by mail on 11 November

For more than two weeks I've experienced no signal in my office or home. when I want to phone or send an SMS I have to go into my garden and look for a spot where I can get two or more bars to phone or get the message to send, and receive the usual SMS acknowledgement that the SMS has been sent.

As a small business owner a certain amount of time is spent in the office. During this time clients and prospective clients call me. I have no indication of this because of no signal.

Once I’ve left the premises my phone bursts into life when signal is restored.

This lack of adequate signal only developed over the past two weeks and days.

The first time I reported the problem I was given a reference number as above, and told that one or more of the repeaters in the area, has probably had a change of state, and that the relative technicians would look into the problem. Two weeks and more have passed and nothing has been done.

This in any circumstance is not good service. No service at all, not the courtesy of a call back to say they are working on the problem
