No signal and no assistance
I have recently moved to Kenilworth and have no signal to use my internet. When not at home, the Vodacom 3G works.
I go to the Vodashop in KC. I explain my issue to the assistant and she says they can't help me, I have to call customer care. I ask her why she can't call them. She is too busy to help, so dials Customer Care and tells me to speak to whoever answers. I get told that I must find five people in my area with the same problem in order to be assisted with mine.
I am shocked and he tells me I should hand the phone to an assistant. Initially no-one wants to take the phone. Eventually some-one calls staff from the back office. The staff seemed totally irritated that she needed to attend to me. She takes the call, has trouble understanding the operator on the line and looks for some-else to take the call. By the time some-else takes the phone, the operator hung up already.
Another assistant comes and says the Vodacom policy requires I find five people in the area that has the same problem before they can escalate my issue.
Eventually the manager comes and calls customer care, and logs the query. I have to wait on a technician to call me.
Is this Vodacom policy?
