I was ****** of my iPad on the 15 December 2016 whilst waiting for an Uber at OR Tambo airport. I made a phonecall to Vodacom on the same night asking them to block the line. The lady informed me she would do so. On the 31st Dec, I got my bill for R4600. I phoned Vodacom immediately. The lady who answered said that she listened to my voice recording and admitted that I had asked for the line to be blocked and that her system was showing that the line was not blocked, and that she would log a note for someone to get back to me to resolve the issue. I'm still waiting. But in the meantime its now April, I need my phone to be working and I refuse to pay the R10 000 that is now appearing on my account. When is someone actually going to get back to me? My line has been blocked due to non payment. I really do want to pay my account, but I'm not going to pay for the account that the ********* managed to rack up - understand?? I've made several calls to Vodacom now to try and resolve this issue but each person always promises to get back to me or tells me that my account is under investigation, but never actually resolves this for me.
