No service once a commitment is made

I switched from pre-paid to contract several months ago. The process to qualify for a contract was tedious and lengthy due to a consultant entering the wrong details and not returning calls/mails and no-one but that consultant could change details.

Once I got my contract I was told I had to pay a monthly fee for telephone numbers to show as it was coming up as "UNKNOWN NUMBER" on every call (something that is free on pre-paid). I then asked for a line-itemized bill, was billed for it (monthly), showing me only the total amount. I then cancelled this - yet I'm still paying.

I've requested 5 times now (3 calls & 2 mails) to receive an SMS when my data runs out. Every time someone says this will be attended to and a technician will contact me and nothing happens. The last two mails two mails have not been responded to (it's been 6 days).

I'm paying ridiculous amounts for a monthly contract, with surcharges on almost everything you can think of. I waste hundreds of rands on out of bundle rates as I don't get notified when my data runs out.

Now that I've made a 24 month commitment, Vodacom's service is non existent.
