No service help resolution from Vodacom east rand mall
I upgraded my contract at your East rand mall vodacom store about 3 weeks ago to a Huawei mate pro. After a week of having the phone I contacted your store to advise them the Bluetooth was not working and was advised it was just settings. I again went back to the store a week later (2nd week after upgrade) to demand something be done as the phone was not working. Lance the technician checked the device and told me the mother board of the device was faulty and it would need to be repaired. After me requesting a replacement device as the phone was only 2 weeks old and the store was advised of the problem in the 1st week Lance declined and told me to take the phone to Vodacom lakeside mall for repair. I took the device to lakeside mall and the motherboard was replaced. The very next day the phone started doing the same thing again. I returned to Lance at vodacom east rand mall and he advised me he can send the phone in for credit as it is still not connecting. I was advised the phone can not connect to any Ford vehicle or fit it as it is not supported on the HUAWEI devices????? This is not possible and NOONE else has heard of such an issue. I am now on week 3-4. I now contacted the store manager only to find out my device is still laying at the store as Lance did not send it in last weeek as he was off ill. The manager of vodacom east rand mall informed me I will just have to wait for the process of crediting to take its course IF the device gets credited. He told me his staff member Lance was not doing his work but there is nothing that can be done about it I must just wait.
THIS HAS BEEN A 4 WEEK NIGHTMARE!!!! Vodacom staff do not assist you, there is Noone you can contact for assistance or to get a matter escalated. I have never had such shocking no care attitude from a store. Not returning calls not answering phone lines. Staff not assisting clients and just saying oh well this is the vodacom procedure. The consumer act where a device not working should be credited or replaced???? Clients are left abandoned and helpless with Vodacom. I am now resorting to this email for SOMEONE.... ANYONE.... To assist me as well as hello Peter. I don't know what more to do. I can't even cancel my contract and move to another network because the contract has just been upgraded I'm told EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE A DEVICE BECAUSE IT IS LAYING IN YOUR STORE. I was even told the technician couldn't back up the device if they can't even do that how am I going to get this resolved without it taking another 4 weeks. I am beyond disappointed with vodacom service!!!! Costing me money driving up and down to and from the store to only get sent back empty handed with no resolution.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
