No service from Vodacom and their insurance
I called Vodacom 2weeks back because I realised that there is an extra amount for a Laptop/tablet insurance on my invoice. They referred me to the insurance. The consultant from the insurance were unable to pick up the amount or cover and agreed to 'investigate' and call me back. During the same call he also confirmed my cellphone cover but according to the system I have a Iphone but my actual phone is Samsung! He then said that's not a big deal he will just change the description of the phone?!? However, he never called back with feedback and yesterday I called them again, because since last week i have been trying to call but they take too long to answer. So i requested to speak to a manager/supervisor and I was told the managers is busy they will call me back when they have time since there is other people they must also call back. So now my issue is... is it not a priority to find out what the device is that i am paying for? The consultant have this big attitude so much so that while you (as a paying customer talks) she is also talking, etc. In between all her talking i managed to find out that the previous consultant still did not change the description and the consultant of yesterday said it will be escalated to the admin department. Another question is, is it not worrisome that your consultants add additional cover without device specifications?? Vodacom blames the insurance company and the insurance says its vodacom who invoice me...
Vodacom keep calling me about my contract that is on the highest call rate meaning that the airtime finish quick so they will 'assist' me by adding another R55 to my contract then i will be on a lower call rate... does it make sense? So i must pay more for something that was sold to me just to make money out of me? While they cannot even keep me happy by just deducting what i agree to?
As it is i have a new laptop and router that also need insurance but this non existence of service is a real turn off... i hope to reach as many potential vodacom clients... please do yourself the favor by not getting involved with vodacom.
