No Service and tied in contract without permission

I upgraded my long standing contract with Vodacom during June 2015. The phone supl**** to me broke during December 2015. After numerous visits, phonecalls and website enquiries, I was informed that the phone was irrepareable and would be replaced. This feedback took 2 months whilst I was still paying my account. I had to get another phone in the interim to be able to make calls. We also moved on the first of February.

It took me another month to get the phone out of Vodacom Keywest , as they refused to pay over the credit to george branch where I have have moved in the interim. A friend later collected the phone for me and I had to pay the cost to get the phone couriered.

Now 6 months after the incident I am informed that I am unable to cancel my contract on another phone, since the replacement phone I received in March only was debited as an upgrade to my contract that has already expired. I am now paying of 2 phones in stead of one.

This comedy of errors and the effort to get it fixed is driving a person crazy. Legal advise seems to be my only option.
