No room for sarcasm in customer care
My complaint is now escalating from being about a tweet I sent to @Vodacom111 about my data that keeps disappearing and Vodacom claiming to be creditting me as a gesture of goodwill. How is it a gesture of Goodwill, if I did not use the data. I was assisted by Candice on the 29th of January and she did a marvellous job in trying to assist me. My 3GB of data was returned and at that point, I had just purchased another Gig and my contract loaded 1 Gig on the 1st of Feb. My data count should have been close to 5 gigs by then. To my surprise when I checked my balance on Wed, I had 852 or so MB left. Sent a tweet about this and a query was logged and a certain Dane from Escalations helpdesk called to spoil my Saturday morning. Nothing more irritating than having a valid query and have someone speak to you with attitude. When you request to speak to his senior after he makes a sarcastic comment, he tells you that they do not work on weekends. I refuse to be treated as if I am not paying for the data and if this is the attitude your call centre or escalations staff treat customers with, then rather not call me at all because i will hang up. 1st call was 8:08am,second call was 08:23.
