No response results in debit order issues

I have resorted to posting on Hello Peter to help resolve my issue with Vodacom. I emailed their customer service on the 22nd May to request that my debit order be changed from the 25th of every month to the 7th. I received no response. Vodacom tried to debit my account on the 25th, and as a result my debit order bounced. I phoned the call Centre on the 1st June and spoke to Lionel who told me he has successfully changed my debit order to run on the 7th June, but he said there was a penalty fee which I incurred as a result of the debit bouncing. I explained to him that I did send an email on the 22nd May. He told me he would investigate and get back to me. I have still not heard from him. I keep receiving sms’s Saying my account is in arrears and I must sms a certain number to arrange payment. When I do this it tells me my account is not in arrears!? As a result of this my bank has charged me R100 penalty for the bounced debit order. I would like to request that Vodacom gets back to me to confirm that my debit order will now run on the 7th, I’d like to request a refund of R100 that my bank charged me because of Vodacoms lack of response. And I would like to request that Vodacoms penalty be waivered because I did contact them before hand to ask for the debit order to be moved. Thank you
