NO RESPONSE AND NO SERVICE

Since beginning of August 2020 I began to receive calls from a company VBM who claims to have bee appointed by Vodacom to collect outstanding debts. I contacted Vodacom by e-mail (***) on 18 and 24 August requesting what this all about as I cancelled my data contract a long time back. I provided them with the NM number quoted to me but no reply and this VBM is still irritating me weekly with their calls. Service is the worst that I have dealt with. Will report them to the Ombudsman as I have had it with the calls from VBM who continues to harass me.

Yip. Seen it but like all others it is an electronic acknowledgement and nothing else. I did however receive a call from Martin a day later and he looked at the profile and confirmed that I did cancel but they omitted to process the cancelation. He the said they will write of the amount owing and I told him to take a hike. Nothing to be written of. The amount must be reversed and not written off. Big difference because if they write it off then it will appear as if I am at fault. He also undertook to send me a confirmation e-mail of this and that they have resolved the ICT issue. Still waiting for the e-mail and the apology confirming that this was there mistake. Will wait another day or two and report to the Ombudsman as this service is very bad.
