No resolution to dispute for more than 35 days......VERY DISAPPOINTED

I recently upgraded my cellphone on 4 September 2017. On this day I also app**** for an additional line, which was granted and sorted out within 48 hours. The problem however occurred on 9 September 2017 when Vodacom ran the same debit order 4 times, bare in mind my debit order date was listed as the 20th of each month. These deductions/debit orders were not suppose to run off my account. I then contacted 111 the Customer care line on the 10th of September, where the customer care consultant advised that they are unable to assist but that they would transfer me to the subscriber collections team. I then spoke to a subscriber collections consultant and I enquired as to why these debit orders ran off my account the collections consultant advised that this was as a result of a technical glitch. I then requested that the reverse these incorrect charges and was advised by the consultant that unfortunately Vodacom could not affect the reversal and that i would have to contact my bank in order to do a debit order reversal. After much deliberation regarding the root-cause and whose responisibity it should be to do the reversal, i advised the consultant that i would contact my bank to do the reversal.

After the debit order reveresal were completed by my bank on 13 September, it appears that vodacom also refunded me three quarters of the moeny they deducted on the 9th of which i was unaware. I then subsequently paid this money back to vodacom in order to not have my account reflecting in arrears. this is when i noticed that i was charged R100x4(=R400) for each of the cancelled debit orders. Noticing this i contacted Vodacom on the 1st of November, and logged a dispute regarding the R400 penalty charged for the cancelled debit orders as it was the collections consultant that advised me to reverse these at my bank. Vodacom then provided me a reference and advised that i would be contacted shortly. On the 7th i called vodacom to enquire regarding progress made on my account and was advised that my ticket had been closed with no explanation. I then requested that they log another escalation which was done on the 7th. I made numerous calls between this time and the 27th of November when i received a 3rd escalation reference and an sms confirming that this 3rd reference has also been closed. My issue was still not resolved at this time. I then spoke to a member of the customer care solutions team on the 27th November and he advised that it appears that my queries were just being posted from one collections consultant to the next, no one wanting to help and own this matter. The solutions consultant then said that instead of logging another escalations reference that an email would be sent to a Team Lead/Supervisor in the subscriber collections team. To date i have not received any feedback besides the times where i have had to call and engage with either the customer care or the solutions team or the subscriber collections team..........UNACCEPTABLE.

Please help me resolve my issue. I have been a loyal Vodacom customer since 2001.
