No record of the call I made to cancel contract
Data contract cancellation
I called *** sometime in May to cancel my data contract. Spoke to a consultant (didn't get a name as I got reference number and thought that would be my tracker). Agent confirmed cancellation, last debit order for 1 June and gave me reference number ***0.
I logged onto myvodacom today, 9 June 2015 and saw data contract still active. I called the cancellation department on *** on 9 June around 13:59 and spoke to Tshidi who spoke to her team leader. I was told they can't trace my call using the reference number, they need the agent's name - really? Why would vodacom give me a reference number if its useless, what is the point of a reference number if it can't trace calls and requests made on account? I got told no record of my call can be found, I must have spoken to a machine. Insulting - I know and told Tshidi I spoke to an agent who gave me reference number. Agent even asked why I was cancelling and I told him due to bad signal. I have destroyed sim card haven't used data on this contract as of 1 June and I WILL NOT pay for a service I didn't use, that I cancelled. I have also emailed vodacom, got ref 001K~KUKV I want a resolution Frustrated
