No protection

I have been using vodacom for as long as I can remember and I wake up yesterday and someone has done a sim swap without my consent. I do not understand who authorised this as Vodacom because when I called in to reverse my number, I was asked security questions. Please get to the bottom of this because it looks like an inside job. The person asked my contacts for money and I am suddenly owing the whole world money. Whether the money is paid or not please get to the bottom of this because you are going to lose clients as many people using vodacom have experinced the same. Please protect us.
