No option to cancel Vodacom Powerflex
I've been trying to cancel my Powerflex plan but it's impossible. There is no option via the Vodapay app, Tobi doesn't have the option as part of it's menu, if you call or email, you're directed back to Tobi.
This is a violation of consumer rights and false advertising. I've documented my attempts and if it's not resolved within the coming week, I am lodging a complaint with the ombud.

17 Jun 2025, 17:20This is nonsense - you called twice and when I picked up the second time, I kept saying "hello, anyone there?" and it was just the background noise of the call centre, so you closed my ticket without providing any actual support.

22 Jun 2025, 12:01A Vodacom call centre agent called me today and advised that I have to wait until 4 July (so two months after I initiated Powerflex) then the contract will lapse. When I asked about the "cancel anytime" option on Vodacom's Powerflex advertising, he advised that the option to cancel only appears 4 days before the end of the monthly contract on the app. That's patently false advertising and a search on HelloPeter reveals more people have struggled to cancel/change their Powerflex plans.
