No one is Listening!!!!

In May 2019 I contacted Vodacom to order fibre for my apartment in the Colosseum Building in town. (SO190257) Address: Unit 805, Crn of Riebeek Street and St George Street, Cape Town I spoke to Nondumiso Ncwane on the 27th May 2019 who sent me a quote (SO***) which I accepted. Order was processed on the 29th May 2019 and installation was booked via telephone. This order was completed on the 26th of June 2019. On 2nd June 2020 I requested a cancellation due to lockdown and we no longer had any Air B&B tenant’s (SR***) On 8th June 202 I received an email from Xolelani Sono saying this will take effect on the 30 June 2020. 9th June 2020 this request was closed. On the 16th of June 2020 I requested for fibre to be installed due to a booking in my apartment but at a more affordable rate than the previous order.- R699 / month. I emailed Nondumiso for assistance but had no reply. I then called in and spoke to Edward George who was very helpful and sent me an affordable package (SO***) it was a month -to -month contract which was perfect for my needs. On the 18th of June 2020 I received another Simpli Quote (SO***) from Edward George stating that I had digitally signed the month-to-month package. Between the 18th – 23rd June is where the problem started. I was called by the installation crew saying they were at my apartment, only to discover they were at the incorrect address. They were at a Riebeeck Street in Wynberg instead of town. I called in to correct the installation address which should have been Unit 805, Colosseum Building crn of Riebeeck Street and St Georges Mall which I assumed they already had. On the 23rd of June 2020 I received another Simpli Quote (SO***) from Edward George. In this time,I was not aware that the package had changed from a month to month to a 12 mth contract. On the 30 th June 2020 I contacted Colwynne Williams who was very helpful in trying to correct the address and offered to look, into a more affordable package. 2nd July 2020 the fibre was installed at the correct address. A new tenant arrived with her own ****al and fibre was no longer required so I cancelled. On the 9th of Feb 2021 I received an email to sign a cancellation form which states I will need to pay the balance of contract to the value of R3027.26. I have sent numerous emails regarding this matter and no one has bothered to contact me accept to sign the cancellation form and pay the fee. I am refusing to do this. Since Edward assisted me and captured the incorrect address this issue has become a financial burden on me. The 2nd Router needs to be collected by Vodacom. I don’t feel I need to pay such an exorbitant amount and I need someone to assist with this matter. Firstly, this matter has gone on for too long and no one is assisting me. Please check phone records to see how many times I have called in as well as emailed. I am currently still paying the monthly fee of R649 .
