No notification of increased debit order

In January I received an sms that I was due for an upgrade and it said that my contract would continue on a month to month basis so I wasn't concerned with upgrading in a hurry. My current contract is a UChoose Flexi 350 with a reduced subscription of R99.98 because it is a sim only contract (total debit order = R261.52)

My debit order went off yesterday and the R99.98 reduced subscription was not app**** so R361.49 was deducted from my account. I have spoken to 6 people this morning, all of who refer me to someone else. Finally someone said I needed to speak to the upgrade department but your upgrade number keeps going through to customer care again or it cuts you off. The same happens with the accounts department.

The consensus in between all of these people is that because I didn't upgrade, I lost my reduced subscription. This is unacceptable as I was not informed this would be the case and I did not agree to R361.49 being deducted from my account.

After 12 years with Vodacom, I am horrified by the lack of service I am receiving. I want my R99.98 refunded immediately and this matter resolved by close of business on Friday, otherwise I will be moving to another operator.

No feedback received on this complaint since the copy and paste above. I have cancelled my contract but that is also proving to be a problem.
