No indication indicating data is Depleted

I recently purchased 1 GB data which cost me R79 Insanely high compared to other networks. I did this to download an app which was roughly 245mb.At this time I had 200mb of data which is part of my monthly top up as well as R90 Airtime. On my first attempt of downloading the app is failed at 232 mb which was okay I had 1 GB so losing 200 mb wasn’t an issue. On my second attempt it failed again so I tried once more and finally got it downloaded. All this time I was more or less calculating the amount of data I use not to go into my 200mb which was part of my monthly top up. In the past when I bought data from Vodacom they always sent me a sms stating my data is finished and that I will be sinking into my airtime if I didn’t by data. Okay fair enough I went over 1gb im not disputing that the fact of the matter is Vodacom did not even inform me that I was sinking into my airtime and my monthly top up data. They just allowed me to finish all my data all my airtime without informing.Strangley a few weeks ago when I did purchase data Vodacom sent me a message stating I am going into my airtime or my top up data. I called the call centre asking why I didn’t receive the sms and they quite rudely said that it a courtesy they don’t need to do it.

The title of the best network in south Africa doesn’t belong to you guys how do you expect someone to download large files if they keep need to be checking data balance. It doesn’t make any sense at all it will disrupt the file you downloading.it seems that Vodacom is only out there to make money.

I am definitely changing my network after 10 long painful years with Vodacom!!!!!!
