No help with retrieving my vmail

I have a serious problem where my vmail deletes messages even after I saved them. There is one critical message that I saved and is to be used at my court case but it got deleted as well which now put my life at risk. I called callcenter call center for assistance but I was told the messages gets deleted automatically after few days and there is no way they can be retrieved. The consultant then hanged up the phone. I really need assistance in this regard.
