NO HELP WITH PHONE

I have been a vodacom customer for coming on 10 year +<br> <br> I took out a new contract phone the SONY Z Compact very happy with my phone it was sold to me as waterproof and full gorilla glass phone. Very impressed with the product I took the phone.<br> <br> I was very upset to find out that my phone was not waterproof at all as my phone got near the kitchen sink for a couple of seconds and then a couple of minutes later died. it was just a little tap water it did not lay in the water for 30 minutes and it was less than 1.5 metres.<br> <br> Vodacom said that it was liquid damage and that Sony does not cover the warranty as stated in book. I have to cough up R2300 to fix the phone.<br> <br> My phone is only 8 months old I have 14 months left to this contract and I am paying the handset (R160) I feel cheated and totally misinformed as a consumer.<br> <br> Sony phones are not waterproof they should not be advertised as such.<br> <br> <br>
