No help whatsoever

I have a contract with Vodacom. For the last 3 months my airtime has been eaten up. I learned, quite by accident, that I could sms 31050 and sent the message "Stop All" for any unknown subscriptions to cease. I was shocked to find between 5-7 of them. As I only use my phone for calls, whatsapp, facebook and News24 I couldn't understand how I'd unwittingly (and definitely unwillingly) subscribed. Some of these subscriptions cost up to R15.00 per day. As soon as everything was unsubscribed to, within a few days my airtime would go again and another sms would reveal more subscriptions, many to the same things that had previously been unsubscribed to. I phoned Vodacom this morning and spoke with a consultant called Fulu who simply was clueless. This was about 7.30am. Fulu kept insisting I have airtime and did not grasp the ongoing problem. Only when I became irritated did she tell me that Vodacom can do "nothing". That I have to contact the "concerns" themselves. An absolute pointless and frustrating conversation. Fulu did not even refer me, give me a reference number or any practical help whatsoever except for two numbers to call that will not guarantee me that this will not reoccur. I then made a trip to Vodacom in Norwood Mall where a totally bored Technician called Lebo was equally as unhelpful. He didn't seem to know what I was talking about either. He scrolled through my phone and told me I should take it up with Vodacom as they offer no protection? I explained that I was in Vodacom's store!! I asked him if I was the only customer in the country with the problem. He rep**** that I was the only customer in the country for whom unsubscribing at 31050 did not work for longer than a day or two. I said "in that case I represent a challenge for you that you should attend to and be interested in solving" but this fell on deaf ears. I left the shop frustrated after another fruitless exchange with Vodacom staff. Just for the record, I popped into Cell C to ask a consultant about this and experienced total friendliness and an intelligent approach to the problem (unfortunately only for privileged Cell C Customers). Vodacom should learn from their attitudes. I wait now for answers please. Would also like to ask Vodacom to improve their training and make sure staff never let a problem go unresolved. Even if they admit to not knowing, they should transfer the client to someone that does or provide some recourse towards resolve.
